| The view from a fun Thanksgiving hike with friends on a beautiful day! |

| On our hike, we came across this temple. Taiwanese religion is very syncretistic. As you can see, this temple has Buddha, another Chinese goddess, and dragons, which are more Taoist/animistic, all in the same temple. There are more than 5000 active temples in Taiwan. |

| We also came across prayer flags, which are more typical in Buddhist Tibet. |

| We ended our hike at these hot springs, a reminder that where we had walked all day was once an active volcano. This water is around 195 degrees Fahrenheit. |
