The kids loved their first pumpkin patch experience... we couldn't believe how big, perfect and orange these pumpkins were!
Our close friends from Portugal and Morocco came to visit us in San Diego. We have been on 3 continents together now! We all had a great time with them. Linda and I made a yummy Moroccan dish, "Jej Mishmash" and "M'semen." It was delicious and we were proud:)

Zac and I got to go backpacking with some college students and summit San Jacinto Peak! This was our first time backpacking together since we hiked the JMT 7 years ago (before Malakai was born!) It was beautiful! Thank you Grandma JoJo for taking care of and spoiling our kids!
Halloween night was a hit! This was the first time Janneke and the kids had been trick or treating. They were a little shy at first, but by the end, Malakai was telling jokes to all the people handing out treats, and he said, "I just can't stop, I love trick or treating!" Thankfully Babbo was well enough to join us as a pirate!
