I am learning that year 5 to 6 of a child's life is a big year! I can't believe that my first child is so big now. Malakai will be 6 years old in June and he seems like such a big boy. We are celebrating all of his many monumental "first's" this year. He has learned to ride a bike, read, write, do basic math, build things with legos, hit a baseball, he is speaking French, and he his heart continues to be sensitive to Jesus. We are so proud of him and are treasuring this year and the "big boy" that he is becoming, but part of me is also grieving our "baby boy."

Here is Malakai playing baseball. He has been asking to play every day and is loving it (which I know makes all the boys in our family proud:)
