Christmas in Spain...

For Christmas break, we were blessed to experience some of God's beautiful creation in Spain, as well as enjoy some Christmas treats in a western culture! We drove north 5 hours to the border of Africa, and took a one hour ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar into Spain.

We stayed in a little village called, Guejar Sierra, in the mountains just outside of Granada. We drove into Granada for a day and enjoyed views of the "Alhambra," and some of Spain's local favorite treats, "churros and chocolate." It was delightful:)

We got to ski one day in the Sierra Nevada Mountains (reminiscent of California's mountains:). The kids loved playing and sledding in the snow and Malakai was really excited about skiing!

We enjoyed family runs from our little village, along the steep gorge, with beautiful views of the mountains!

We spent our last three days in Fuengirola, just outside of Malaga on the Mediterranean... lots of rain, fun with friends, Christmas lights and an amazing pirate ship playground for the kids to enjoy!
