Hill's Half Marathon!!!

I got to run my first half marathon in Marrakesh a few weeks ago. It was definitely a surreal experience, as we were running through trash, by old, walled cities and by local markets, with some random people taking pictures of us four white girls. We were famous:) The water stations along the way were far and few between and very basic, but we were also lucky to experience the "eponge," (where they gave us sponges with water on them to cool down). I really enjoyed that experience until I found out that they were reusing the sponges that people had already used and thrown on the ground. Needless to say, we finished in 2 hours and 10 minutes! I am so thankful to my running partners, we could not have done it without each other and not only are we running partners now, but I am so thankful for our relationships that have come out of our long runs together every weekend! Here's to you girls!
