When we can, we enjoy riding bikes together as a family... this is our new bike route, from our house to the "Grande Mosque" (the largest in Africa and the 2nd largest in the world). The ride is about 11 miles on some rough, uneven terrain between the ocean and the highway. The only way we can get the kids to go with us is because we always stop at a MacDonalds on our way home for lunch (a special treat:)
We took a drive to Rabat (the country's capital) last weekend and discovered some fun gardens built in the 1950's by a Frenchman. The gardens were a bit overgrown, but they were nice and green... the most amazing part was the exploring we got to do on all these suspension and bamboo bridges. It was amazing and the kids especially loved it!
Then we visited a "Casbah," a walled city where people still live, located on the bluffs where the river meets the ocean. It was really interesting and beautiful...
