We are on our way to New Zealand for Christmas, and we had a layover in Bangkok, Thailand. We got to ride in a "Tuk Tuk," and it was quite an experience!

We spent 10 days in New Zealand celebrating our 15 year Anniversary!
Tasmin Glacier Lake, on the South Island, at the base of Mt. Cook (NZ's tallest mountain).
Zac is teaching us about the largest melting glacier NZ, and the "rock flour" that makes the water turquoise.
Glacier River at the foot of Mt. Cook.

We made it to Queenstown, after an 8 hour drive from Christchurch.
We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas Eve hike, with a view of Queenstown Lake.

Celebrating Christmas Eve with an amazing "Fergberger" and a beautiful sunset at 9:30pm:)

Christmas day on the Milford Sound (one of New Zealand's 14 fiords). We were blessed with so much beauty and unusual sunshine!

On our final day in Queenstown (on the South Island), we hiked up "Queenstown Hill," which was incredible!

Hiking to and swimming in the Cathedral Cove in Coromandel, on the North Island.
Afterwards, we warmed up in the hot springs at "Hot Water Beach," by digging a hole in the sand on the beach.
We rented surfboards and surfed at Whangamata!

We drove to north to Tauranga and hiked up Mt. Maunganui at sunset!

Looking out over Tauranga at the Pacific Ocean and the Bay of Plenty.
Rafting in Rotorua, on the highest commercial waterfall (21 feet) in the world!

Watching the Southern Hemisphere's largest Geyser, and learning about the Maori people in Rotorua.
We drove across the country, to the west side, to surf the "world famous," left point break at Raglan!

New Year's Eve at Piha Beach, just outside of Auckland.
Happy New Year 2016 from Auckland, New Zealand! We were the first in the world to celebrate 2016!
