Fun in February

Kiki started her first ballet class and loves it!

Malakai finally lost his first tooth and he was so proud! He also decided he wanted to buzz his head like Daddy. He is becoming such a big boy!

This year, we have not had much of a winter in San Diego, CA, which means we have had lots of beautiful sunny days to play outside! We have been taking advantage of being close to the ocean and the mountains, and Zac and I were able to get away for a weekend by ourselves and ski in Mammoth (our first time in 6 years!).

One 80 degree weekend, we took the kids surfing on Saturday, played in the tide pools and enjoyed the ocean (Zac even took each of them out on the surfboard with him to catch some waves and they loved it:)...

Then, on Sunday, we drove up to the mountains and put the kids in ski school, while we enjoyed a hike in the warm weather! The kids did great! After lunch, they were taking the chair lift up and skiing down the run. The lesson ended at 3pm, but Malakai decided that he wasn't done and he spent the last hour taking the chair lift up and skiing down by himself! He said, "I love skiing, I'm going to be a skiier and a snowboarder!"
