For Christmas, we were blessed with the gift of visiting Zac's Dad and his wife at their home in Hana.

We spent almost every day playing in the warm water at the local beach. It was fun to see how much the kids LOVED body boarding and never wanted to get out of the water!
For Christmas Eve, we enjoyed a nice dinner with the family and on Christmas morning we woke up to a beautiful day...

One morning we went for a little hike to a big waterfall and another morning, Malakai enjoyed fishing for the first time with Pop Pop!
Exploring the beautiful garden, cracking open coconuts, picking papayas, avocados, tomatoes, etc. are always a highlight!
We celebrated our Plumeria Princess (Kiki's 4th birthday a little early) before we headed back to CA the next day. Thank you Pop Pop and Wiki for your generosity and amazing hospitality!

I'm so sad we barely missed you guys :( These pictures remind me that there is no place in the world as beautiful and peaceful as Hana...we didn't make it out there this last trip. Hamoa is my favorite beach on the planet and I think that waterfall is where Jim proposed to me over 8 years ago! blessings to you and your family!! we need to catch up in SoCal one of these days...
Beautiful pics Hill and Zac!! Love them! So glad you got to go to Hawaii for Christmas! I'll never forget the mango story you told me of your time there. Did you eat any this time around?? You were the first person to teach me how to really eat a mango. Love you Hill!
