We are celebrating! Kihana is walking! For the past four months, she has wanted to walk everywhere, while being attached to our finger with a serious grip (our fingers would turn white:). Those of us who walk her all day, have been waiting for this moment when she would finally let go and go for it on her own. She has decided today (she is just shy of 16 months) is the day and she is very proud of herself and so are we. Those who have kids, know that we learn a lot from them about waiting and patience... lots of life lessons, but the anticipation, makes the celebration that much more sweet!!!

That video is great! It is so awesome to see how excited she is about being able to walk! I just wanted to say how much I enjoy keeping up with you guys from all the great pictures and videos on your blog. Keep them coming!

Wow... Kihana is absolutely adorable. And Malakai has grown soooo much. Crazy, just crazy. I hope everything in Portugal is going well. I'm studying in Seville and will be done early June. Any chance I could come see you all for a bit? We could hike again!! :-D
