From the Mediterranean to the French Alps!

We had a four day training that took place just outside of Geneva, so we decided to go a week early and explore some new European landscape, as we haven't seen much outside of Portugal. We flew into Geneva, rented a car and drove 5 1/2 hours south to Aix en Provence, France to visit some friends and co-workers from our organization. Then we took the 5 hour drive along the Mediterranean (which was beautiful) and stayed with some more friends and co-workers who live just outside of Nice. We were so blessed by our time with them. Then we drove 9 hours north through the Italian Alps and stayed another 3 nights in the French Alps, just outside of Geneva. Wow! We were able to see some of God's amazing creation, enjoy time with friends, hike a little with Hillary's parents and spend some time exploring as a family.
