This is for all you patriotic Americans!!
For the past two weeks, Malakai has wanted to read his latest favorite book called, "America." It is a nicely illustrated book about the different aspects of the good ol' USA.
It even has the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner in it.
Zac has been faithfully reading it to him, and we didn't even realize it, but he has practically memorized the entire book. Last night, Malakai burst out in the pledge of allegiance on his own.

Such a sweet little voice! I love seeing his long arms and it always reminds me of the "old days" when we would play together and he would just flap like crazy. What a sweet boy with a powerful memory.

Hey!! I think that is the book we gave him by accident! I had an amazon mix up when he was a baby and meant to send it someone else and instead it went to Hillary with some baby books or something. Crazy cause I remember us saying to each other that. "Oh well, someday he will be old enough to enjoy it." It made me so happy to see him saying that! Hill and Zac you both are doing a wonderful job with that monkey and I miss you too!
